ANNA MACIAS-SALAS

Mathematics Teacher

Anna Macias-Salas and is proud to say that she has been teaching Mathematics at Garfield for over 25 years!  

 

She is a Garfield Alum and a USC graduate (B.A. in Mathematics & M.S. in Education)!  (GO TROJANS!!!)  All of her siblings graduated from Garfield as well!

 

Ms. Macias shares a wonderful household with her husband Mario and their 2 beautiful daughters (Andrea and Marianna) and 3 spoiled dogs (Bella, Nicko, and Max).  

 

Currently, she is a proud faculty member of Garfield's Magnet School.  She is teaching Algebra 2AB and Pre-calculus AB this school year.

 

Her motto is "MATH IS BEAUTIFUL (AND FUN)!" (even though her students might disagree..haha)
